When any of your characters complete the Covenant campaign, your alternate characters can still earn the Renown and get the third Soulbind without having to go through the same campaign. There won’t be any restrictions, penalties or cooldowns and any mount rewards, cosmetics, or pet will still be available to you no matter your membership. Players are now able to switch between the different Covenants for free as long as they have reached the maximum Renown. Allied Race Unlocks:Ĭhanges in the Covenants have been significant. The new change now allows them to be chosen without additional requirements. Like all new raids, the Sanctum of Domination will only be tested intermittently throughout the beta cycle on specific days, with the first test happening on April 16 for just two of its ten bosses.Previously, the Allied Races can only be unlocked with a dungeon requirement. Korthia, a new subzone in the Maw, and its associated questlines are all there, but there's no way to play the new megadungeon called Tazavesh. Only some of those are currently available on the beta, however. It'll also add a ton of new activities, story quests, and areas to explore. Update 9.1 isn't just about class balance, though. But they also have a new PVP talent that you can use to trick enemy players into falling to their deaths (opens in new tab), so I'd call it an even trade. Affliction Warlocks, who have long dominated as WoW's best damage dealers, have been nerfed extremely heavily. Probably the most interesting will be balance fixes to all of WoW's classes, with dozens of alterations to different skills and abilities.

As Blizzard previously announced (opens in new tab), the 9.1 beta rolled out early this morning so players can help test a ton of new changes (opens in new tab).
